People on the train tell me I will love Omaha. Lots of history and good food. I’ve met the most amazing people. Today Teri a retired school teacher and I talked for hours in the observation car. She told me a lot about teaching during Covid times. So many challenges and changes they had to embrace and the kids depended on them. The California Zephyr said goodbye for three days. Now it’s time to eat some breakfast down the street from my hotel. Thanks to person I shared the row of train seats too. Her contribution was good! She also let me know I should have a good time wandering the city.
